I would be happy to be an ambassador for Heritage Podcast. I am really enjoying listening and I’m worried about running out of podcasts!
Until I found you, I loved the Hillsdale Dialogues for ancient history and Peace Revolution for more modern history but your voice and presentation kick it up to five *****’s!
    Thanks for all you do.

I am a teacher (physics) and would love my pupils and staff to listen to the podcast.
Could you send me the cards in electronic form (I’m in the UK)? In could then get them printed and hand them out.
I have really enjoyed the podcast and have learnt loads (love the essay by Asimov on Socrates, really interesting for a teacher)

I’m a dialysis RN at UAB. I began to listen to your wonderful podcast on recommendation of the the also excellent “History of the Crusades” podcast. Your podcast is fantastic. I especially love the premise of what a classical liberal education is and why it’s important to any free society. Are you still at UAB? I have a fantasy of seeing you there and grabbing your hand and slapping your back and gushing over how much I’ve enjoyed bindging (sp) on your podcast, and enjoying the looks on the faces on the Dr types your wandering the halls with. I’m a 61 yo semi-Luddite atheistic grump, a happy live and let live grump, however. My top 10 podcasts are the Bible Geek, Hardcore History, Revolutions, China History Podcast, The Ancient World, Space Rocket History, History of the Papacy, History of the Crusades, Ken Rudin’s Political Junkie. So I guess you’re in my top ten eleven podcasts. To me the most amazing thing about your podcast is that you have the energy to do it, because I know how hard UAB works the residents and fellows. You are doing a great and I think a very important project and want to thank you for taking it on. I would be honored to be a heritage ambassador.

So happy to spread the word about your amazing work! As a homeschooling mom and part of a classical homeschool academy, I know LOTS of people who will devour your podcasts and website resources. Many thanks for your time and investment…it makes folding laundry and cooking dinner and driving kids around so much more enjoyable for me! πŸ™‚

These podcasts are absolutely wonderful. I feel as though I have discovered enlightenment and it was found in your podcasts. πŸ˜‰ Seriously though, I love it. I am a carpenter by trade and I play these podcasts out loud on my stereo at work for my enjoyment as well as to broaden the minds of my co-workers. πŸ™‚ They all enjoy it, which must mean that they too are enlightened. My wife and I have actually incorporated Heritage Podcast in educating of our children who are 13, 11 and 9 and they love it. They crack up at the humour and are extremely interested in how history and philosophy has had such a large impact on everything today including the music they listened to, cartoons and shows they watch and so much more.

I would love to be a disciple of Heritage Podcast in order that I go out into the world and spread it’s good news. πŸ˜‰ So please send me your cross, I mean cards, so that I too may bear it as witness to those around me.;)

      Phil-
You give me too much credit! THP is hardly a cross, but a hobby! That said, if you want to “evangelize” more of your friends and family, I’d be honored to send you some of those business cards! I also just checked out your personal blog…let me continue this conversation with a private e-mail and I’ll get your mailing address, too.
Thanks for the kind words. Nicest message I’ve gotten in several years!

    Will,

I, like you, didn’t really care much for the liberal arts going into college and then became a huge fan. If possible, I’d like to become a “Heritage Ambassador.”

Also, I’m a grad student in Birmingham as well, so it was neat to see this great podcast coming out of the Steel City!
